(empathy) Week 12: “Hang in There” gets its identity.

Testing: Week 12

Building an Identity for “Hang in There”

This week “Hang in There” is getting a visual overhaul. Moving from the prototyping stage into the testing stage we wanted to create a more appealing and approachable identity for students. During the week we have been brainstorming ideas for the visual identity for “Hang In There”

Individually we all brainstorms, coming together to combine and evaluate our designs.

After several variations on the logo we decided on a playful monkey logo. Monkey’s are social animals and spend time hanging together. This suited hang in there, as it required a community coming together to listen to one another. In our prototype the students used humour and pop culture reference to lighten the mood. We hope that the monkey character would act as a playful relief on what at times can be a serious tool for students to communicate their plights.

Meanwhile, our wall continues to gather a lot of responses

And we got some more stationary and prepare for our second prototype, which is more colourful.
